Peace & Love & Jigs & Reels is a Celtic music duo consisting of Cynthia Jaffe (Irish flute and whistles, alto flute, vocals) and Gregg Hansen (guitar, percussion, vocals). Mixing traditional styles with engaging tight arrangements of jigs, reels, ballads and airs, the two have played at festivals such as the Long's Peak Scottish Irish Festival, the Crestone Music Festival, and the Golden Fine Arts Festival, among many others. They are also very enamored of the more intimate house-concert setting, where their stories and humor enhance the music itself.

I am interested in putting together a 4 to 5 piece predominantly Scottish folk group of players. I play Scottish smallpipes, and Great Highland Bagpipes. I need a fiddle player, a Bodhran player, a singer who can sing/speak/or read Gaelic. I have a mandolin player and myself. Please call me if you are interested in getting a small group together with intent to play local events to begin with, or if you are looking for a small pipes player for your established band in the Denver Colorado area. Thanks, Scott

specialized in improvision, chording, and basic music theory. I have been taking lessons for four months, and do not want to end up like most students and only can play what they read. I want to play by ear and learn how to fill the music with beautiful chord playing.
