Hammer Dulcimer Players and Students:
I perform and teach an expressive and improvisational style of hammer dulcimer. All age groups and skill levels are welcomed. I was trained by two of the best players in North America:  One year of study with Maggie Sansone (Annapolis MD) and 6 1/2 years of study with Dr. Ken Kolodner (Baltimore, MD), national and international recording artist and popular workshop leader throughout the USA. Lessons can be arranged to fit your schedule.
Also, I am available for public and private events. My repertoire draws from Irish, Scottish and British Isle cultures, music of the great composers, medieval, renaissance, well-known classics,  jigs, reels, hornpipes, marches, lyrical airs, laments, waltzes and ballads.
If interested in playing and/or performing together or studying the hammer dulcimer, call or email me.

Hi, music lovers! :<). We are Jerry Clement & Art Bivins, aka "Olde & Ornery", and we perform around Miami-Dade where and whenever there is an occasion which desires to hear a wide variety of acoustic folk music as we all loved it in the 50s-60s. Art plays guitar, and Jerry plays 5-string banjo as well as 6 and 12 string guitar, and both of us sing. Private parties, clubs, pubs - we are comfortable in all settings, and have our own sound system, if needed, for any occasion. We want to entertain you! Art can be reached @ 305-385-2116, or 13721 SW 84 St, Miami, Fl, 33183, or by email: acbiv3@yahoo.com.... Jerry is @ 305-362-6489, or 6311 W. 16 Ave., Hialeah, FL, or email him: Banjammer@webtv.net. We bring a wide assortment of folk tunes, and would love the opportunity to "leave a good old song behind." Tight strings... Art and Jerry.
