A gentle-sounding instrument, the kinder harp is made of solid cherry, a beautiful light-reddish-brown, natural wood, which is very durable (which is a great plus for an instrument designed for young children). The 5-note pentatonic scale (DEGABdegab) is ideal for accompanying stories and singing, with every note in harmony.
The kinder harp is 16" long  approx 7 1/2" " wide  at the widest point. 
The wood is 1 " thick, with the tuning pins about 2 1/2" tall. 
Durable, clear lacquer finish.
The longest string is D above middle C = .012" thickness string, like a high E on light gauge steel string guitar. Sound Sample
