| Irish Musicians Association
sponsors Irish country dance workshops each week from September to May.
Irish country dances are also called "set" dances or Irish square dances. Four or eight dancers form the set which is danced to lively traditional Irish music. You do not need your own partner and costumes are not required. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes with a leather type sole. Workshops: Wednesday's 7.30 - 9.30pm Commencing September thru May at Elaine P.Wilson Pavilion,Saint John Fisher College 3646 East Avenue, Rochester, NY. Information: Brendan or Mary Tunney at 342-2756 eire@localnet.com |

I run the Cornwall Harp centre here in the south of the UK. We are looking
for similar organisations and also harp ensembles around the world, with
whom we can forge links, and maybe organise exchange visits and concerts
in future!
We
provide harp courses for beginners and intermediate level, private tuition,
workshops, concerts, sheet music, CDs, merchandise, and information about
the history of the harp in England. We have a harp ensemble of 8 players
who play together mostly for fun but also for concerts across south west
England.
If
you know of a harp ensemble interested in maybe doing an exchange visit
here to the UK in future, please pass their information on to me! Sarah
