This
is Terry, fiddler and bouzouki-ist in "Sonas." We're from the thumb area
of Michigan. We're a 3 person group, the guitarist is a guitar teacher
in Caro, and our hammered dulcimer player gives lessons, too. Hey folks,
"Live Bait" is one of the best recordings you'll ever hear. My brother
in Grand Rapids lent it to me and now we're fighting over it!! Anyway,
if you need some music in the Thumb, give us a jingle.

I have been playing mountain duclimer for two years. I play for my
own pleaseure and like real folk music, and the old hymns that we sang
in church when I was a child. There are not many people in S.W. Michigan
who play a dulcimer, or even know what one is. I'm always looking for someone
local to play with.
