in Afro Celt music.
Influences

Hi,
I'm a beginner Mountain Dulcimer player from WV, who visits Grove City
OH for a few weeks every month until spring and am looking for other beginners
(or even patient advance players) to practice, jam or learn from each other.
I have a teacher in WV so though I'm always learning, I'm not looking for
a teacher per se, just looking for casual (slow) beginner Jams and to get
to know other area dulcimers. August 2007
My
name is Andy Beyer. I have been teaching, building and playing mountain
dulcimers since 1974. I have bachelor's and master's work in education
(both elementary and secondary), and have taught adult education classes
since 1980.
At
present, I am teaching private lessons at my home, as well as group lessons
thru the Lifelong Learning and Leisure Program
in
Upper Arlington, Ohio. A variety of classes are taught, with an emphasis
on the beginner student.
They
can be contacted at: 614-583-5333.
I
live in the Worthington Hills area of Columbus, Ohio. I can be reached
