I teach and play clawhammer banjo in the Salem, Oregon area.  I also play actively with an old time  / early bluegrass group called "Biscuit Creek:"  Also do minor repair and setup of old time banjos.  I try to learn as many tunes as possible and play with a variety of fiddlers in the area.  I play a clean, percussive melodic style of banjo.

I am mostly interested in Early Music (Medieval & Renaissance)and Celtic. I play Harp (lever and historical), keyboards (harpsichord), psaltery (bowed), dulcimer (mountian). I would love to gather some early musicians together to play the repertoire. I also give harp lessons. I am a Music Thanatologist and graduate of the Chalice of Repose Project. I play prescriptive music (harp & voice) at the bedside of the dying. I work in the Portland area. I am also available for memorial services and weddings.

Hello! I perform and teach the celtic harp and love to jam with other players (also play the bass, psaltery and piano). Soon to offer harps for rent or purchase. As a music thanatologist, and graduate of the Chalice of Repoase Project based in St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana, I play prescriptive music on the harp and sing for seriously ill patients in hospice and hospital, but also play weddings, private parties and church services. You can find me under Harpsong in the phone book!

I play and teach the Modern Technique of the autoharp. If you go to any autoharp camp or gathering you will see very few (if any) young people participating. This is because the autoharp is in the same state of development that the guitar was in until the 1950's. When the electric guitar arrived on the music scene, the guitar world changed. I promote solid body electric harps and the use of amplifiers.
